"Between the years 2000-2006 I took great pleasure in receiving tuition from Alonso Mendoza Moreno at Birmingham Conservatoire. His flair and enthusiasm is second to none, and he has always inspired me to strive towards greater achievements through his extensive knowledge of Latin and Contemporary music. Tremendous musicality, intensity, technique, vibrancy, spice and a unique passion for new music makes Alonso's performances great for both composers, audiences and indeed contemporary music!"
